This beautiful and scarce edition of Andrew Lang's Green Fairy Book was published by The Folio Society in 2009. It still has it's original slipcase.
The ever popular Fairy Books were brought to the modern reader's notice when Folio Society brought out these stunning bindings of Andrew Lang's collectable works.
This book is in very good condition with just a tiny mark to the front board (on the mermaid's hair). The slipcase has some scuffs and minor marks, and there is a chip to the surface of the card.
Inside there are no inscriptions or dedications, and the pages are clean and bright with minimal wear.
The book features beautiful illustrations (both colour plates and black and white line drawings) by Julian de Narvaez which add to the atmosphere of this popular read.

The book will arrive hand wrapped in patterned wallpaper and ribbon.
I use a range of eco friendly, 100% recyclable jiffy bags and boxes, and whenever possible I use brown paper tape. The green bubbled wrap is biodegradable and the clear bubble wrap is 100% recyclable. I also reuse boxes when I feel it's appropriate (if the boxes are sturdy enough).
