This lovely vintage edition of William Shakespeare The Complete Works was published by Odhams Press Limited. The book itself isn't dated but Odhams predominantly published books in the 1920's-1940's.
This lovely vintage book is in good condition but there is sunning and light soiling to the spine, with crushing to the spine ends. There is minor marking to the boards and text block edges. The corners are lightly rubbed.
Inside, the paper at the front hinge is creased. The pages show light age toning and occasional foxing. The paper is very thin so it has a rippled effect. There are no inscriptions or dedications.
The dimensions of the book are approximately 18.7cm x 14cm x 4.2cm. The book will arrive hand wrapped in patterned wallpaper and string.
I use a range of eco friendly, 100% recyclable jiffy bags and boxes, and whenever possible I use brown paper tape. The green bubble wrap is oxo-degradable and the clear bubble wrap is 100% recyclable. I also reuse boxes when I feel it's appropriate (if the boxes are sturdy enough).
