This lovely edition of The Treasures of Jane Austen The Story of her Life and Work was compiled by Janet Todd and published by Sevenoaks in 2013. It’s a really fabulous book, with facsimile manuscript pages of Austen’s handwriting and so much information on her life and works.
The book comes in its original slipcase, although this has some creasing and marking, as well as the remains of two price stickers. The card shows some bumping and scuffing too, and there is a small split to one edge (see photo). The book is in very good condition, with just slight bowing to the boards - I think this has occurred due to the envelopes of facsimile documents. There is light rubbing to the boards and wear/bumping to the corners the spine ends. There is a tiny split to the tail of the spine.
Inside, the pages show minimal wear, with occasional creasing to the envelopes.
