These sweet little booklets contain collections of nature poetry and illustrations. One is called Falling Leaves and was published by Griffith, Farran and Company. The other is called Forest Echoes and was published by Henry J Drane. Neither are dated but I'd estimate them to be from circa 1900.
They're in very good condition, with only light marking and soiling to the covers. There is wear to the edges, corners and spines, with some loss to the surface of the card.
Inside, the pages show light age toning and occasional foxing.
The books will arrive hand wrapped in patterned paper and string.
I use a range of eco friendly, 100% recyclable jiffy bags and boxes, and whenever possible I use brown paper tape. The green bubbled wrap is biodegradable and the clear bubble wrap is 100% recyclable. I also reuse boxes when I feel it's appropriate (if the boxes are sturdy enough).
