This beautiful vintage edition of Through the Looking Glass by Lewis Carroll was published by Macmillan and Co Ltd in 1978. The book still has it's original dust jacket which is in good condition for it's age. Underneath the DJ, the book has a beautiful pictorial front cover.
The DJ has some shallow scratches and marks, and there is some wear and tear to the edges ( the top of the back flap and spine are torn). There is light sunning to the spine. The text block edges have some minor marks and bumps. Underneath the DJ, the book shows some discolouration to the spine and top edges of the board.
There is a little bit of toning to the pages inside, and there are some small tears and chips to the edges of a handful of pages. The book features beautifully illustrated endpapers and both colour illustration plates and black and white line drawings by John Tenniel throughout the story.
Dimensions approximately 21cm x 16cm x 3.2cm.
All books will be hand wrapped in biodegradable bubble wrap, patterned wallpaper and string.
