This beautiful vintage edition of The Making of Mona by Mabel Quiller Couch was published by The Society for the Promoting of Christian Knowledge. The book itself is undated but I'd estimate it to be early 20th Century (circa 1910's/1920's).
The book is in very good condition with light rubbing to the corners and minor marking to the back board. There is crushing to the spine ends.
Inside, there is a presentation plate glued to the front free endpaper. There is light age toning to the paper and occasional handling marks. There are a handful of superficial cracks to the gutter but the pages remain tightly bound. The only illustration is the colour frontispiece.
Dimensions approximately 19.7cm x 13.4cm x 2.4cm.
The book will arrive hand wrapped in patterned wallpaper and string.
I use a range of eco friendly, 100% recyclable jiffy bags and boxes, and whenever possible I use brown paper tape. The green bubble wrap is oxo-degradable and the clear bubble wrap is 100% recyclable. I also reuse boxes when I feel it's appropriate (if the boxes are sturdy enough).
