This modern edition of The Mayor of Casterbridge by Thomas Hardy was published by Reader's Digest in 1994. It features a black leatherette spine and beige grey cloth boards.
The book is in very good condition with the main sign of wear being some dark marking near the edge of the front board. There is light bumping to the spine ends and minor marks to the text block edges.
Inside, the pages are clean and bright with minimal signs of wear. The book features striking illustrations and still has the original leaflet provided by Readers Digest.
Dimensions approximately 23.5cm x 16cm x 3.5cm.
All books purchased will be hand wrapped in patterned wallpaper and string.
