This beautiful vintage edition of The French Garden A Diary and Manual of Intensive Cultivation was published by Daily Mail. The book is undated but I'd estimate it to be from circa 1910/1920.
The book is bound in red cloth with blind stamped lettering and decoration in black to the front board. It's in good condition for it's age but there is some light wear to the corners and minor marks to the boards. The book shows a slight forward lean and the spine is faded and lightly marked. There is crushing to the spine ends.
Inside, there are no inscriptions but the book has advertisements at the front and back. The pages are clean and bright with just some light age toning and occasional foxing.
There are a handful of black and white plates inside.
Dimensions approximately 18.5cm x 12.7cm x 1cm.
The book will arrive hand wrapped in patterned paper and string.
