This lovely pocket edition of The Daily Motto Book A Birthday Calendar was published by Frederick Warne. The book is undated but after some research, I'd estimate the book to be from circa 1900/1910.
The book is bound in camel coloured cloth with pretty floral decoration to the front board. It's in very good condition but the book does show a slight forward lean and there is wear to the corners. The spine ends are crushed and there is some minor marking to the cloth.
Inside, there is a name sticker on the FFEP and the pages show light age toning. Some of the blank spaces have been filled with names.
This little book measures approximately 10cm x 8.5cm x 1cm.
The book will arrive hand wrapped in patterned paper and string.
I use a range of eco friendly, 100% recyclable jiffy bags and boxes, and whenever possible I use brown paper tape. The green bubble wrap is oxo-degradable and the clear bubble wrap is 100% recyclable. I also reuse boxes when I feel it's appropriate (if the boxes are sturdy enough).
