This beautiful vintage edition of The Arabian Nights Entertainments was published by Ward, Lock and Co. The book is undated but I'd estimate it to be from circa 1930.
The book is bound in green cloth with pictorial detail to the front board. It's in remarkably good condition and still has it's original dust jacket. The corners and spine ends are rubbed, and the text block edges are toned. The DJ has some minor wear and tear to the edges and corners, and the DJ shows light soiling and marking (there is a stain to the back cover). The spine is darkened.
Inside, the pages have noticeable tanning and sporadic foxing but the text remains clear and bright. There is one black and white illustration.
Dimensions approximately 19cm x 13.5cm x 4cm.
The book will arrive hand wrapped in patterned wallpaper and string.
I use a range of eco friendly, 100% recyclable jiffy bags and boxes, and whenever possible I use brown paper tape. The green bubbled wrap is biodegradable and the clear bubble wrap is 100% recyclable. I also reuse boxes when I feel it's appropriate (if the boxes are sturdy enough).
