This stunning edition of The Singing Wood by Lady Frazer was published by A and C Black in 1931. There is no dust jacket. The book is bound in original pictorial blue cloth.
It's in very good condition, with light wear to the corners and spine ends. There is also some foxing to the text block edges.
Inside, there is discolouration to the free endpapers but otherwise the pages are clean and bright with occasional foxing (most prominent to the title page). There is one colour plate in the form of the frontispiece, as well as pretty black and white illustrations by HM Brock.
Dimensions approximately 20.9cm x 15.5cm x 3.2cm.
The book will arrive hand wrapped in patterned wallpaper and string.
I use a range of eco friendly, 100% recyclable jiffy bags and boxes, and whenever possible I use brown paper tape. The green bubble wrap is oxo-degradable and the clear bubble wrap is 100% recyclable. I also reuse boxes when I feel it's appropriate (if the boxes are sturdy enough).
