This stunning edition of Rosa's Repentance by L.E.Tiddeman was published by Blackie and Son. The book itself is undated but I'd estimate it to be circa 1910's/1920's.
The book is beautifully bound in red pictorial cloth and is in excellent condition, with the main flaw being the foxing to the text block edges. The spine shows very faint sunning.
Inside, there is a penned name and address to the front free endpaper and some more writing that has been rubbed out. The endpapers are tanned but the rest of the pages are bright, with scattered foxing throughout.
Dimensions approximately 17cm x 12.5cm x 2.3cm.
The book will arrive hand wrapped in patterned wallpaper and string.
I use a range of eco friendly, 100% recyclable jiffy bags and boxes, and whenever possible I use brown paper tape. The green bubble wrap is oxo-degradable and the clear bubble wrap is 100% recyclable. I also reuse boxes when I feel it's appropriate (if the boxes are sturdy enough).
