This beautiful edition of Robin Hood was published by Raphael Tuck and Sons Ltd. The book itself isn't dated, but there is an inscription dated 1931. I'd estimate the book to be a little earlier though, from the 1920's.

The book is bound in burgundy cloth with a colour illustration pasted to the front board. It's in good condition for it's age but there are signs of wear. The corners are lightly worn, and there are some minor marks to the boards. The spine is faintly sunned with crushing to the spine ends. There is some marking and general soiling to the text block edges.
Inside, there is a neatly written inscription on the front pastedown and the pages show age toning and marking throughout. Some of the colour plates are detached, with tears to the edges.
Dimensions approximately 19.7cm x 13cm x 3cm.
The books will be posted hand wrapped in patterned wallpaper and string.
I use a range of eco friendly, 100% recyclable jiffy bags and boxes, and whenever possible I use brown paper tape. The green bubble wrap is biodegradable and the clear bubble wrap is 100% recyclable. I also reuse boxes when I feel it's appropriate (if the boxes are sturdy enough).
