This beautiful and collectable edition of Andrew Lang's Red Fairy Book was published by The Folio Society in 2008. The book still has it's original slipcase.
The ever popular Fairy Books were brought to the modern reader's notice when Folio Society brought out these stunning bindings of Andrew Lang's collectable works.
This book is in excellent condition, with minimal wear. There are some minor marks and scuffs to the slipcase.
Inside there are no inscriptions or dedications, and the pages are clean and bright. The book doesn't appear to have been read.
The book features beautiful illustrations by Charles Van Sandwyk which add to the atmosphere of this popular read.
Dimensions approximately 25.5cm x 19.5cm x 6cm (it's a big heavy book!).
The book will arrive hand wrapped in patterned wallpaper and string.
I use a range of eco friendly, 100% recyclable jiffy bags and boxes, and whenever possible I use brown paper tape. The green bubbled wrap is biodegradable and the clear bubble wrap is 100% recyclable. I also reuse boxes when I feel it's appropriate (if the boxes are sturdy enough).
