This stunning quarter Morocco book contains some of the Poetry of Francois Coppee. The book is undated but I'd estimate it to be late Victorian (circa 1880's). It's bound in Quarter Morocco over marbled paper boards, with gilt tooling and five raised bands to the spine. Top edge gilt.
It's in very good condition, with light wear and rubbing to the corners and board edges. This has removed some of the surface of the paper. There is light wear to the spine ends, with very minor loss to the surface of the leather.
Inside, the pages show age toning throughout but are otherwise clean and bright. There are no previous ownership marks. Dimensions approximately 16.3cm x 10cm x 2.3cm.
