This sweet little vintage children’s booklet of Those Tiresome Twins by Blanche Handler was published by Castell Brothers Ltd. It is undated but there is a penned inscription dated 1906.
The soft card cover has light wear and tear to the edges and corners, with marking to the card. There is slight creasing where the bottom corner of the back cover has folded upwards and the string binding is discoloured.
There is a penned inscription on the inside of the front cover and the pages show toning foxing throughout. The colour illustrations are particularly striking. Dimensions approximately 14.7cm x 9.3cm x 0.4cm.
The booklet will arrive hand wrapped in patterned paper and string.
I use a range of eco friendly, 100% recyclable jiffy bags and boxes, and whenever possible I use brown paper tape. The green bubble wrap is oxo-degradable and the clear bubble wrap is 100% recyclable. I also reuse boxes when I feel it's appropriate (if the boxes are sturdy enough).
