This stunning Bijou Prayer Book was published by Gill and Son. The book is undated but I'd estimate it to be early 20th Century. It features a full Morocco binding with gilt detail to the front and lettering to the spine. All edges gilt.
It's in very good condition with just minor wear and marks to the leather cover. There is also light wear to the spine ends and one page sticks out slightly from the edge of the text block.
Inside, there is a written inscription on the front free endpaper and the pages show occasional foxing and creasing. The paper is very thin.
Dimensions approximately 4.8cm x 3.7cm x 1.1cm.
The bubble wrap I use is either oxo-degradable or 100% recyclable; the jiffy bags are recyclable. Where possible, I use 100% recyclable paper tape, but sometimes I have to use clear plastic tape for extra strength.
