This stunning edition of Bogie and Fluff by L.E.Tiddeman was published by Blackie and Son. The book itself is undated but there is a presentation plate inside dated 1897. So the book is from the late Victorian era.
The book is beautifully bound in original red pictorial cloth. It's in very good condition with light marking and bumping to the boards. The book shows a slight forward lean and the spine is faintly sunned with bumping to the spine ends.
Inside, there is a presentation plate glued to the front pastedown and foxing to the endpapers. The pages are clean and bright with sporadic foxing and fingermarks. There is slight cracking to the gutter at the title page but the pages remain tight to the binding.
Dimensions approximately 18.3cm x 12.6cm x 1.6cm.
The book will arrive hand wrapped in patterned paper and string.
I use a range of eco friendly, 100% recyclable jiffy bags and boxes, and whenever possible I use brown paper tape. The green bubble wrap is oxo-degradable and the clear bubble wrap is 100% recyclable. I also reuse boxes when I feel it's appropriate (if the boxes are sturdy enough).
