This sweet little edition of J. Smith : A Fairy Story by Fougasse was published by Walker Books in 2012.

It is a hardback, based on one of the books created for Queen Mary’s Dollhouse in the 1920’s. Over 200 miniature books were created for the dolls house. Not only does it have its own miniature library but it also features electricity and running water.

This witty and enchanting fairy tale of a fairy stranded in 1920’s London and was created by the cartoonist Fougasse. Queen Mary's Dolls' House, the largest and most famous of its kind in the world, has a library containing works by all the major writers and artists of the day.

Originally measuring just 3.85cm x 3cm, this facsimile gift edition is a bit larger (at 13.5cm x 10cm) and beautifully bound with a ribbon bookmark. All edges gilt. It’s in very good condition with just light discolouration to the cover.
