This lovely little book of How to Talk Correctly: A Pocket Manual to Promote Polite and Accurate Conversation is a Victorian era language guide published by William Nicholson and Sons. It was written by Charles Platt under the pseudonym Professor Duncan and the book outlines the principles of proper English as understood in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
The manual teaches users to communicate elegantly through several core pillars:
Pronunciation and Enunciation.
Correcting Common Errors.
Grammar and Vocabulary.

It's in good condition but the book shows a backwards lean and there is soiling to the cloth. The corners show light wear and crushing. The spine ends are crushed and the spine is sunned.
Inside, the pages show tanning throughout but the text is clear and bright. Dimensions approximately 14.7cm x 9.8cm x 1.2cm.
The book will arrive hand wrapped in patterned wallpaper and string.
