This antique edition of Children's Treasury of Great Stories features an assortment of the best Classic Literature for Children. It includes Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, Gulliver's Travels, Tales from Shakespeare and Arabian Nights. It was published by Daily Express Publications. There is no date but I'd estimate the book to be from the 1930's.
The book is in good condition but there are signs of wear. The corners are lightly worn and crushed, and there is soiling and foxing to the text block edges. The boards show some marks and scuffs, and there is fading and foxing to the spine. The crushing to the spine ends has caused splitting in the cloth.
Inside, the pages have some foxing and light marking but are otherwise in good, antique condition. There are some superficial cracks to the gutter but the pages remain tightly bound.
There are stunning illustrations throughout, by a variety of different illustrators.
