This stunning little vintage edition of The Book of Little Girls; Written and Illustrated by Eudora Heal was published by Cornish Brothers in 1911. It has a plain paper wrapper which has helped keep the book in excellent condition. The wrapped is marked and creased, with loss to the paper in places.
The book shows only light wear to the corners and spine ends.
Inside, there is a plate stating that the entire proceeds of the sales of the first edition and second edition will be given to the Insurance Clerks' Orphanage. The tissue guard for the frontispiece is tanned and there is very occasional foxing.
Dimensions approximately 14.5cm x 10.4cm x 1cm.
The book will arrive hand wrapped in patterned paper and string.
I use a range of eco friendly, 100% recyclable jiffy bags and boxes, and whenever possible I use brown paper tape. The green bubble wrap is oxo-degradable and the clear bubble wrap is 100% recyclable. I also reuse boxes when I feel it's appropriate (if the boxes are sturdy enough).
