This stunning complete collection of the Novels of Jane Austen was published by JM Dent and Company. This includes all of her full length novels - Emma, Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensibility, Northanger Abbey, Persuasion and Mansfield Park - in ten volumes. The dates vary between volumes but were published between 1901 and 1905.

Each book is uniformly bound in pale green cloth with with pretty decoration to the front boards and spines. The lady on the front board was believed to represent Jane Austen. This beautiful set is find to hard in a complete collection and I've never seen these books in such excellent condition. Due to the pale cloth, this set was very prone to soiling and sunning.
Book Condition - Near Fine. Important condition point to be aware of is one frontispiece is missing (from Sense and Sensibility).
Pride and Prejudice (1905) - there is light wear and bumping to the corners of volume two. The spines are lightly sunned. Inside, the pages show light age toning. The tissue guard for the frontispiece in volume one is torn.
Mansfield Park (1902) - The colour of the cloth varies slightly between the two volumes. The cloth shows minor marking and the spines are faintly sunned. There is very light rubbing to the decoration on the front board of volume two. Inside, there is light age toning to the pages and very occasional foxing. There is slight cracking to the back hinge of volume one.
Northanger Abbey (1901) - The cloth shows minor marking and faint discolouration. There is also a little air bubbling to the cloth near the joints. The spine is lightly sunned. Inside, the pages show light age toning but are otherwise clean and bright. Some of the page edges are a little jagged - it appears that some may have been separated by hand, which has caused some tearing to the edges. There is also some loss to the edges of Pages 97 - 100 but this does not reach the text.
Sense and Sensibility (1901) - There is a pen mark to the front board of volume two and some other more minor marks to the boards. The spines are lightly sunned and spotted, and two of the corners are bumped. Inside, there is a slight crack to the front hinge of volume one and occasional cracks to the gutter - the pages remain tightly bound. There is light age toning to the pages. Please note that the frontispiece to volume one is missing. It would have had a portrait of Jane Austen originally.
Emma (1903) - The cloth shows minor marking and there is sunning to the spines. Inside, there is a slight crack to the gutter at the title pages and the frontispieces feel a little loose at the top. The pages show light age toning and there is slight damage to the internal front hinge in volume one.
Persuasion (1902) - Only some light sunning to the spine. Inside, the pages show only minor age toning. There is a slight crack to the front hinge.

The books will be hand wrapped in patterned wallpaper and ribbon.
The books will be securely wrapped in bubble wrap and in a double walled cardboard box for extra protection.
