This stunning and tiny book was published by The Religious Tract Society circa 1861. Small Rain Upon the Tender Herb was written by Anon and features a religious quote/passage for every day of the year. It features a full leather binding with gilt detail.
It's in very good condition with just wear to the extremities and minor marking to the leather. The covers are bowed.
Inside, there is a written inscription on the front free endpaper and the pages show tanning and foxing. There are occasional cracks to the gutter but the pages remain tightly bound.
Dimensions approximately 3.3cm x 2.7cm x 1cm.
The bubble wrap I use is either oxo-degradable or 100% recyclable; the jiffy bags are recyclable. Where possible, I use 100% recyclable paper tape, but sometimes I have to use clear plastic tape for extra strength.
