This beautiful vintage edition of Home Influence by Grace Aguilar was published by James Nisbet & Co Ltd. The book is undated but these bindings usually date from the Edwardian era (I've seen a few with inscriptions dated between 1905 and 1910).
The book is bound in green cloth with stunning art nouveau floral decoration to the front board and spine. It's in very good condition but does show some marking to the boards. There is light discolouration to the spine and the book shows a slight forward lean.
Inside, there is light age toning to the pages with scattered foxing (most noticeable to the preliminary and back few pages).
Dimensions approximately 20cm x 14cm x 4.1cm.
The book will arrive hand wrapped in patterned wallpaper and string.
I use a range of eco friendly, 100% recyclable jiffy bags and boxes, and whenever possible I use brown paper tape. The green bubble wrap is oxo-degradable and the clear bubble wrap is 100% recyclable. I also reuse boxes when I feel it's appropriate (if the boxes are sturdy enough).
