This stunning edition of The Scuttling of the Kingfisher by A.E.Knight was published by S W Partridge and Co. The book itself isn't dated but there is a presentation plate dated 1910. So the book is Edwardian.
The book is bound in teal cloth with elaborate art nouveau detailing to the front cover and spine. It's in very good condition with light rubbing to the corners. There is minor bumping to the board edges and foxing to the text block edges. The spine ends are crushed.
Inside, there is a presentation plate on the front free endpaper and the free endpapers are tanned. The rest of the pages show lighter age toning.
Dimensions approximately 19cm x 13.3cm x 3.5cm.
Each book will arrive hand wrapped in patterned wallpaper and string.
