This stunning antique edition of Adventures of a Naval Lieutenant by Captain Cupples was published by George Routledge and Sons. The book itself is undated but there is a written inscription dated 1910. So the book is likely from the Edwardian era.
The book is bound in blue cloth with beautiful pictorial detail to the front board and spine. It's in very good condition with just light rubbing to the corners and foxing to the text block edges. There is a small mark to the front board near the bottom corner; the spine edges are rubbed.
Inside, the endpapers are tanned and the pages show occasional foxing. There is a written inscription on the verso of the frontispiece.
Dimensions approximately 19.5cm x 13.2cm x 4.6cm.
