This stunning edition of The Romance of King Arthur was Illustrated by Arthur Rackham and published by Macmillan and Co in 1979. It still has it's original dust jacket which is protected by clear plastic.
The book is in near fine condition with just light wear to the edges and corners of the DJ. There are some tiny chips to the surface of the DJ near the bottom of the front joint. Underneath the DJ, the corners and spine ends are lightly bumped. There is also light soiling to the bottom corner of the text block.
Inside, the pages are clean and bright with very occasional signs of handling. There is a name plate glued to the front pastedown.
Dimensions approximately 21.5cm x 17.5cm x 4.2cm. The book contains both black and white illustrations within the text and colour plates.
The book will arrive hand wrapped in patterned wallpaper and string.
I use a range of eco friendly, 100% recyclable jiffy bags and boxes, and whenever possible I use brown paper tape. The green bubble wrap is oxo-degradable and the clear bubble wrap is 100% recyclable. I also reuse boxes when I feel it's appropriate (if the boxes are sturdy enough).
