This beautiful antique edition of The Woman in White by Wilkie Collins was published by Chatto and Windus in 1928. It features a more contemporary half calf binding, with three raised bands and gilt tooling to the spine. The text block edges are marbled. 

The book is in good condition, but there is fading and scuffing to the spine. The title label on the spine is darkened which makes it hard to read the gilt text. There is wear to the top corners and chipping to the surface of the leather of the front board's top corner. The top edge of the text block is dulled. 

Inside, the endpapers are beautifully marbled and there are no inscriptions. The pages show age toning and occasional foxing but are in very good antique condition. 

Dimensions approximately 18.7cm x 12.5cm x 3.5cm. 

The book will arrive hand wrapped in patterned wallpaper and string.
