This pretty edition of Quo Vadis by Henryk Sienkiewicz was published in 1926 by JM Dent and Sons. It features a faux leather cover with blind stamped gilt to the front board and spine. The spine also features pretty blue flowers.
It's in near fine condition and certainly doesn't look almost 100 years old! There is one small mark to the edge of the text block and light wear to the spine ends.
Inside, there is a written inscription on the front free endpaper and the pages show light age toning. There is a small mark to the title page and frontispiece.
The book will arrive hand wrapped in patterned wallpaper and string.
I use a range of eco friendly, 100% recyclable jiffy bags and boxes, and whenever possible I use brown paper tape. The green bubble wrap is oxo-degradable and the clear bubble wrap is 100% recyclable. I also reuse boxes when I feel it's appropriate (if the boxes are sturdy enough).
