This lovely edition of Virginibus Puerisque by Robert Louis Stevenson was published by Chatto and Windus in 1904. It's bound in contemporary half Morocco leather by the prestigious Riviere and Son binders (stamped to the verso of the FFEP).
It's in very good condition with light wear to the corners and light fading to the leather. A very slight crack is starting to the top of the back hinge.
Inside, the endpapers are marbled and there is a rubbed out name to one of the preliminary blank pages. The pages are clean and bright bright with light age toning.

The book will arrive hand wrapped in patterned wallpaper and string.
I use a range of eco friendly, 100% recyclable jiffy bags and boxes, and whenever possible I use brown paper tape. The green bubble wrap is oxo-degradable and the clear bubble wrap is 100% recyclable. I also reuse boxes when I feel it's appropriate (if the boxes are sturdy enough).
