This beautiful edition of The Complete Works of Shakespeare was published by Henry Frowde in 1911. The book is bound in faux leather, with gild detail to the front board and spine. The boards are cushioned which make it a really lovely book to handle. All edges gilt.
It's in very good condition with just light wear to the corners and bumping to the top corner of the front board. The gilt edges have some scuff marks.
Inside, there is a name and date neatly written on the verso of the front free endpaper. The pages show light age toning and very occasional creasing.
Dimensions approximately 18.5cm x 14cm x 4cm.
The book will arrive hand wrapped in patterned wallpaper and string.
I use a range of eco friendly, 100% recyclable jiffy bags and boxes, and whenever possible I use brown paper tape. The green bubble wrap is oxo-degradable and the clear bubble wrap is 100% recyclable. I also reuse boxes when I feel it's appropriate (if the boxes are sturdy enough).
