This lovely vintage edition of Series One of Wayside and Woodland Blossoms was published by Frederick Warne and Co Ltd in 1905. So the book is from the mid Edwardian era. The book is bound in faux burgundy leather with blind stamped decoration in gilt to the front board and spine.
It's in very good condition for it's age, with just some light fading to the spine and bumping to the spine ends and corners.
Inside, there is tanning to the endpapers and two written inscriptions - one on the verso of the front free endpaper and the second on the half title page. The pages are clean and bright with occasional foxing. The book features pretty colour plates.
Dimensions approximately 16.2cm x 11.9cm x 2.5cm.
The books will be posted hand wrapped in patterned wallpaper and string.
I use a range of eco friendly, 100% recyclable jiffy bags and boxes, and whenever possible I use brown paper tape. The green bubble wrap is oxo-degradable and the clear bubble wrap is 100% recyclable. I also reuse boxes when I feel it's appropriate (if the boxes are sturdy enough).
