This lovely 1930 edition of The Legend of King Arthur and His Knights was compiled and arranged by Sir James Knowles and published by Frederick Warne and Co Ltd. It's bound in original green cloth with pictorial detail to the front and spine.
It's in very good condition but there is sunning and fading to the spine and crushing to the spine ends. The book has a slight forward lean and light rubbing to the corners.
Inside, there is a written inscription to the front free endpaper. There is light age toning and scattered foxing. The book is filled with both black and white plates and colour plates.
Dimensions approximately 20.3cm x 14.6cm x 4.3cm.
The book will arrive hand wrapped in patterned wallpaper and string.
I use a range of eco friendly, 100% recyclable jiffy bags and boxes, and whenever possible I use brown paper tape. The green bubble wrap is oxo-degradable and the clear bubble wrap is 100% recyclable. I also reuse boxes when I feel it's appropriate (if the boxes are sturdy enough).
