This antique edition of The Sea Shore Shown to the Children was published by T.C & E.C Jack Ltd. The book is undated but I'd estimate it to be circa 1920/1930.
This lovely antique book is in very good condition, with the most noticeable flaws being the sunning to the spine and wear to the spine ends. The corners and board edges are rubbed, and there is light foxing to the text block edges.
The pages are rough cut which is a lovely feature in old books.
Inside, there is a tanning to the endpapers and minor foxing/marking to the pages in places.
This lovely vintage book features gorgeous illustration plates throughout.
Dimensions approximately 16.5cm x 12.5cm x 2.5cm.
The book will arrive hand wrapped in patterned wallpaper and string.
I use a range of eco friendly, 100% recyclable jiffy bags and boxes, and whenever possible I use brown paper tape. The green bubbled wrap is biodegradable and the clear bubble wrap is 100% recyclable. I also reuse boxes when I feel it's appropriate (if the boxes are sturdy enough).
