This absolutely stunning Missel Romain is housed in an extremely fine binding - full leather, with gilt decoration to the boards and spine. Four raised bands to the spine and all edges gilt. Gold and burgundy Fleur de Lis endpapers and gilt inner dentelles.
It is in near fine condition, with just slight rubbing and sunning to the spine. The boards are slightly bowed and there are minor marks/scuffs to the gilt text block edges.
Inside, the pages show light age toning throughout, with very occasional foxing and marking. The pages have stunning illustrated borders and there are a handful of monochrome plates (these show heavier age toning).
Dimensions approximately 15.4cm x 12.3cm x 3.5cm.
The book will arrive hand wrapped in patterned wallpaper and ribbon.
I use a range of eco friendly, 100% recyclable jiffy bags and boxes, and whenever possible I use brown paper tape. The green bubble wrap is biodegradable and the clear bubble wrap is 100% recyclable. I also reuse boxes when I feel it's appropriate (if the boxes are sturdy enough).
