This stunning French book of Impressions d'un Pèlerin de Terre-Sainte au Printemps de 1855 was published in 1879. It features a lovely red card binding with black and gilt decoration to the boards and spine.
It's in good condition, but there is wear and loss to the surface of the card at the corners and board edges. The boards show minor marks and chipping and the spine is sunned, with dulling to the decoration. There is also crushing to the spine ends.
Inside, the FFEP is stuck to the half title page near the top and there is a library stamp to the title page, as well as a penned price. The pages show heavy foxing throughout.
Dimensions approximately 22.4cm x 14cm x 2.2cm.
The book will arrive hand wrapped in patterned paper and string. The bubble wrap I use is 100% biodegradable and the jiffy bags are recyclable.
Where possible, I use 100% recyclable paper tape, but sometimes I have to use clear plastic tape for extra strength.
