This interesting sixth edition of The Art of Writing English; A Manual for Students by J.M.D.Meiklejohn was published in 1907. It's bound in green cloth with blind stamped decoration in blacko the front board and spine.
It's in very good condition but there is wear and bumping to the corners, with slight fraying to the cloth. The spine is sunned and discoloured, with crushing to the spine ends. One page wasn't cut correctly and the bottom corner sticks out from the edge of the text block.
Inside, there is tanning to the endpapers and a written name and address on the front pastedown. The pages show age toning throughout with sporadic foxing. There is also occasional creasing to the bottom corners.
Dimensions approximately 18.5cm x 12.7cm x 2cm. The book features numerous black and white illustrations.

The book will arrive hand wrapped in patterned wallpaper and string.
I use a range of eco friendly, 100% recyclable jiffy bags and boxes, and whenever possible I use brown paper tape. The green bubble wrap is oxo-degradable and the clear bubble wrap is 100% recyclable. I also reuse boxes when I feel it's appropriate (if the boxes are sturdy enough).
