This beautiful antique edition of The Little God by Katharine Howard features child verse for grown ups. It was published by George Harrap and Co Ltd in 1918 and still has it's original dust jacket which is rare to see. The dust jacket has a clear plastic cover.
The book is in very condition for its age but there is some wear and loss to the DJ in places - particularly the spine ends and corners. There is creasing and minor marking to the DJ, and the spine is a little sunned with a small hole to one edge. Underneath the dust jacket, the corners are worn and crushed; the spine ends also show crushing and there is a small mark near the tail of the spine. There is foxing to the text block edges.
Inside, the pages show age toning and foxing but the text is clear and bright. The poems are quite humorous and based largely around nature.

The book will arrive hand wrapped in biodegradable bubble wrap, patterned wallpaper and string.
I use a range of eco friendly, 100% recyclable jiffy bags and boxes, and whenever possible I use brown paper tape. The green bubble wrap is biodegradable and the clear bubble wrap is 100% recyclable. I also reuse boxes when I feel it's appropriate (if the boxes are sturdy enough).
