This stunning vintage edition of Collected Poems of John Masefield was published in 1926 by William Heinemann Ltd. The book is bound in full leather with blind stamped decoration of a ship at sea to the front board.
The book is in good condition and features a really pretty binding. There is light wear to the corners which has taken the surface off the leather in places. There is also light wear to the edges of the cover, and the leather boards have some scuffing and minor marks. The spine is sunned, with some rubbing and wear to the leather.
Inside, the pages have some minor marks and discolouration, but are otherwise in good, antique condition. There is a beautiful inscription opposite the half title page, thanking the recipient for a good deed paid to the giver.
Dimensions approximately 19cm x 13cm x 4.5cm.
The book will arrive hand wrapped in patterned wallpaper and string.
I use a range of eco friendly, 100% recyclable jiffy bags and boxes, and whenever possible I use brown paper tape. The green bubble wrap is biodegradable and the clear bubble wrap is 100% recyclable. I also reuse boxes when I feel it's appropriate (if the boxes are sturdy enough).
