This lovely vintage edition of A Christmas Carol and Other Christmas Books by Charles Dickens was published by J.M Dent and Sons Ltd in 1972 as part pf the Everman's Library Series in 1980. The book still has it's original purple dust jacket.
The book is in good condition but there is some wear and tear to the edges and corners of the DJ. The paper is rubbed and marked. Underneath the DJ, the book is bound in orange cloth with gilt lettering to the spine. The corners and spine ends show light wear and bumping.
Inside, the DJ is clipped and there is a rubbed out pencil price on the front free endpaper. The pages are clean and bright with minor creasing.
Dimensions approximately 19cm x 12cm x 2cm.
The book will arrive hand wrapped in patterned wallpaper and string.
I use a range of eco friendly, 100% recyclable jiffy bags and boxes, and whenever possible I use brown paper tape. The green bubbled wrap is biodegradable and the clear bubble wrap is 100% recyclable. I also reuse boxes when I feel it's appropriate (if the boxes are sturdy enough).
