This first edition of John Fowles' adaptation of 'Cinderella' complete with beautiful illustrations by Sheilah Beckett is signed by John Fowles. It's bound in original publisher's cloth with the original price-clipped dust jacket. John Fowles' interpretation of 'Cinderella', was adapted from Charles Perrault's Cendrillon of 1697.
It's in very good condition for it's age, with the most noticeable flaw being a small tear and creasing to the DJ in the top corner of the front cover. There is also bumping to the spine ends.
Inside, the pages are clean and bright with minimal wear. There is slight creasing and a very tiny mark to the title page.

The book will be hand wrapped in patterned wallpaper and string.
I use a range of eco friendly, 100% recyclable jiffy bags and boxes, and whenever possible I use brown paper tape. The green bubble wrap is oxo-degradable and the clear bubble wrap is 100% recyclable. I also reuse boxes when I feel it's appropriate (if the boxes are sturdy enough).
