This beautiful edition of Where the Rainbow Ends by Clifford Mills was published by George Harrap and Co Ltd in 1936. The book is bound blue cloth with pictorial decoration to the front board and spine. It's in very good condition, with only light rubbing to the corners and some foxing to the text block edges. The back board shows some scuffing and there is fading to the edge of the board next to the spine. The spine also shows light fading.
Inside, the pages show very light age toning but are otherwise clean and bright.
There is one colour plate (frontispiece) and numerous black and white line drawings within the text, by Honor Appleton
Dimensions approximately 20.1cm x 15cm x 3.7cm.
The book will be hand wrapped in patterned wallpaper and string.
I use a range of eco friendly, 100% recyclable jiffy bags and boxes, and whenever possible I use brown paper tape. The green bubble wrap is oxo-degradable and the clear bubble wrap is 100% recyclable. I also reuse boxes when I feel it's appropriate (if the boxes are sturdy enough).
