This lovely edition of My First Prayerbook was published by Oxford University Press. The book is undated but I'd estimate it to be from circa 1920's. It's bound in original olive-green cloth with elaborate gilt decoration to the front. It's in very good condition with just light wear and crushing to the corners. The boards show minor marks and scuffs, and there is rubbing to the spine edges. The spine ends are crushed.
Inside, there are no inscriptions but the pages do show light age toning throughout with scattered foxing. There are cracks to the gutter but the pages remain tightly bound. There are only a handful of pages and one page appears to be missing. It's a delightful collection of illuminated prayers and pencil illustrations.
Every book purchased will be hand wrapped in patterned paper and string.
