This lovely vintage edition of English Fashion was part of the Britain in Pictures Series. It was written by Alison Settle and published by Collins in 1948. The book still has it's original dust jacket.
The book is in good condition for it's age but the DJ has some wear and tear to the edges, most noticeable to the spine ends (there is some minor loss to the surface of the paper). The DJ has some light discolouration and marking, and the spine is sunned. Underneath the DJ, the spine is bumped and worn.
Inside, there is very minor foxing and marking in places, and the paper is lightly toned. There is a written inscription on the front free endpaper.
Dimensions approximately 23cm x 16.5cm x 1cm.
Every book purchased will be wrapped in biodegradable bubble wrap, patterned wallpaper and string.
I use recyclable jiffy bags and boxes, and recyclable paper tape. Sometimes I have to use plastic tape for security.
