This beautiful edition of Lives of Wykeham, Waynflete and More was published by Burns and Lambert. The book is undated but there is a written inscription inside dated 1876 - so the book is from the mid Victorian era. It's bound in full calf leather with gilt tooling and five raised bands to the spine. There are coats of arms blind stamped in gilt to the boards and the text block edges are marbled.
The book is in very good condition considering it's approximately 150 years old. There is light wear to the corners and board edges, and the boards show minor scuffing and marking. There is a small split starting to the top of the external front hinge and the spine is lightly worn, with minor loss to the surface of the leather.
Inside, the endpapers are marbled to match the text block edges and there is a bookseller's sticker glued to the bottom corner of the front pastedown. The pages show light age toning and sporadic foxing but are in remarkably good condition.
Dimensions of the book are approximately 16.4cm x 11cm x 2.7cm.

I use a range of eco friendly, 100% recyclable jiffy bags and boxes, and whenever possible I use brown paper tape. The green bubble wrap is biodegradable and the clear bubble wrap is 100% recyclable. I also reuse boxes when I feel it's appropriate (if the boxes are sturdy enough).
