This lovely antique edition of Some Wonders of Matter by Rev J E Mercer was published by The Society for Promoting Christian Knowledge in 1919. It's bound in dark grey cloth with striking pictorial decoration to the front board and spine.
It's in excellent condition, with only light wear to the corners and foxing to the text block edges. There are some tiny holes in the cloth near the bottom corner of the front board. The spine ends are crushed and there is minor bumping to the board edges.
Inside, there is a name written on the front free endpaper and the pages show light age toning and occasional foxing. The text is clear and bright.
Dimensions approximately 20cm x 13.8cm x 2.8cm.
The book will arrive hand wrapped in patterned wallpaper and string.
I use a range of eco friendly, 100% recyclable jiffy bags and boxes, and whenever possible I use brown paper tape. The green bubble wrap is oxo-degradable and the clear bubble wrap is 100% recyclable. I also reuse boxes when I feel it's appropriate (if the boxes are sturdy enough).
