This beautiful vintage edition of Glimpses of Nature by Dr Andrew Wilson was published by Chatto and Windus in 1891. It's bound in green cloth with blind stamped decoration to the front and spine.
It's in very good condition with light rubbing to the corners and foxing to the text block edges. The spine is lightly sunned and and rubbed, and there is crushing to the spine ends.
Inside, there is a penned name on the front free endpaper. The pages are clean and bright, with just light age toning and occasional foxing. There is also occasional cracking to the gutter but the pages remain tightly bound. The book is filled with black and white illustrations within the text.
Dimensions approximately 19.4cm x 13.5cm x 2.8cm.
