This beautiful and collectable edition of Andrew Lang's Blue Fairy Book was published by The Folio Society in 2003.
The ever popular Fairy Books were brought to the modern reader's notice when Folio Society brought out these stunning bindings of Andrew Lang's collectable works.
This book is in very good condition for its age with the only noticeable flaw being a dent to the top corner of the front board. The slipcase shows some minor marks and bumps to the edges/corners.
Inside, there is a neatly written name in the top corner of the front pastedown but no other signs of use. The pages are clean and bright with minimal wear.
The book features beautiful illustrations by Charles Van Sandwyk which add to the atmosphere of this popular read.

The book will arrive hand wrapped in patterned wallpaper and string.
I use a range of eco friendly, 100% recyclable jiffy bags and boxes, and whenever possible I use brown paper tape. The green bubble wrap is oxo-degradable and the clear bubble wrap is 100% recyclable. I also reuse boxes when I feel it's appropriate (if the boxes are sturdy enough).
