This lovely vintage edition of Complete Needlecraft by Agnes M Miall was published by C Arthur Pearson Ltd in 1943. It still has it's original DJ which is protected by clear plastic.
What's particularly lovely about this edition is the penned inscription, dated 1944, just one year before the end of WWII. It's a beautiful and poignant inscription.
The book is bound in yellow cloth with pretty detail and lettering to the front and spine. It's in very good condition but shows a slight forward lean and bumping to the top corners. The DJ shows some wear and tear to the edges and loss to the spine ends. It has some scuffing and light marking.
Inside, the pages are clean and bright with sporadic foxing. There is a penned inscription opposite the title page. Dimensions approximately 19cm x 13.5cm x 2.2cm.
The book will arrive hand wrapped in patterned wallpaper and string.
I use a range of eco friendly, 100% recyclable jiffy bags and boxes, and whenever possible I use brown paper tape. The green bubble wrap is biodegradable and the clear bubble wrap is 100% recyclable. I also reuse boxes when I feel it's appropriate (if the boxes are sturdy enough).
